The Steiger-Meyers Duo, playing Native American flute accmpanied by piano, will perform at St. Paul’s Parish on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, in a free-to-the-public “Brown Bag Concert” at 12 noon.
The duo was formed in 2007 and since that time has performed for various venues in Northeast Ohio. In addition, they have appeared twice in two festivals in Nicaragua, the Festival Musica Coral and the Festival Internacional de Musica Clasica, with performances in Managua, Leon, Granada, and the men’s prison at Tipiyapa. Their repertoire includes classic to folk to jazz.
On April 19 the duet will play the following program:

Vals Venezolano and Contradanza by Paquito D’Rivera
