St. Paul’s Episcopal Church invites you to join the congregation in celebrating the Birth of Christ at three Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services.
Christmas Eve, the Family Service of Holy Communion will begin at 6 p.m. This service features the telling of the Gospel Narrative in Storybook format and the setting-up of the Christmas Creche. It is especially suited to younger children.
At 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve, the “Midnight Mass” or Festival Eucharist of the Nativity will be offered. Music will be provided by the St. Paul’s Chancel Choir under the direction of organist and music director Roberta Stamper; they will be joined by members of the Burning River Baroque String Ensemble. A sermon will be offered by the parish’s rector, the Rev. Dr. C. Eric Funston.
On Christmas Day, the Christ Mass, a simple contemplative service of Holy Communion will be offered at 10 a.m.
